Welcome to Unser Café, a delightful spot nestled in the heart of Schöneberg at Leberstraße 2, 10829 Berlin. Whether you’re looking for a cozy breakfast nook, a vibrant brunch spot, or a quiet place to sip coffee while working on your laptop, this cafe has something to offer everyone. With a dedicated focus on providing a niche experience that highlights Portuguese baking, Unser Café stands out amidst its similarly-rated competitors in the area.

As you step inside, you’re greeted by a simple yet charmingly decorated space that invites you to unwind. The hustle and bustle of Berlin melts away as you settle down either indoors or in the spacious outdoor seating area, perfect for people-watching on sunny days. Customers appreciate the self-service model, which adds a casual vibe; just queue up, select your meal, and make yourself at home.

Culinary Highlights: One of the draws of Unser Café is its tantalizing menu, which boasts an array of options catering to various dietary preferences. Samuel Gustafsson notes that the Portuguese pastries are a must-try, exemplifying the cafe’s unique offerings that you won’t easily find elsewhere. With everything from healthy selections that ensure you don’t have to compromise on flavor to the delicious vegan schnitzel highlighted by Mike Zimonyi, you’ll find yourself coming back just to explore more.

The café also pays homage to traditional flavors with a modern twist. As you indulge in the freshly prepared dishes, the delightful crunch of a pastry contrasts beautifully with the smoothness of a steaming cup of coffee—though some customers have remarked about the coffee being “good but nothing special.” C S sums it up nicely, stating that it’s a great stop for coffee breaks, particularly from its patio when the weather is fair.

If you're searching for a tranquil workspace, Dani Daoud recommends this café for its quiet atmosphere that’s conducive for focused work sessions. However, be prepared for a bit of hustle during busy hours, as noted by Alisa, who found the space a bit crowded when rain drove patrons inside.

With a variety of cakes and a commitment to healthy yet indulgent options, Unser Café truly aims to cater to its guests. Alberto Flores Ibáñez shared about a minor service hiccup during his visit, but found the promptness of the kitchen refreshing and appreciated the affordable prices.

All in all, Unser Café is more than just a coffee spot; it’s a community hub where good food meets a friendly atmosphere. Whether you're a local or a traveler passing through Berlin, be sure to pay this unique café a visit. You may just find your new favorite place to relax, refuel, or catch up on work amidst the lively charm of Schöneberg.

A nice Schöneberg cafe for breakfast, brunch or just a coffee break at any time. Keeping in mind there are a few other excellent cafés just a few blocks away, with similar high Google rating, Unser Cafe is at a highly competitive spot - but it's fair to say that it defends well. Speciality of this cafe is the Portuguese baking and the pastry I tried was very good, but so was rest of the menu also - although menu items are classic each of them had something a bit unique for this place. We tried the hamburger, which was a perfect brunch burger, and eggs benedict. Pancakes were very sweet too, less jam than usual but with a well balanced caramel syrup. Coffee options were good too. Overall service level is good and correct. Quite popular during weekend brunch hours, especially outside tables well filled. Objectively it's a 4.6 but as Google review does not have decimals, it's a 5 and it's deserved.

Nice cafe, healthy but tasty food and they seem to be fine with working on your laptop a bit. Good selection of food also for vegetarian dishes and there’s even a very tasty vegan schnitzel on the menu right now.

Super cute cafe! It’s a self-service cafe so service was nice I guess Coffee was good but nothing special. The outside seating was quite nice but inside a little bit too noisy for me.

Lovely Cafe, near S Julius Leber Brücke. It is a self-service Cafe, a quiet place to bring your laptop and work. It has simple decoration and a quiet atmosphere. The food was good and they have a variety of cakes to choose from.

Looks better than the taste, but overall quite good. It got quite busy because of rain, not very cosy overall and a bit of self-service. good that they have different dietary/ food options, including some vegan dishes

Visited this café around midday to try some of their food options. The place is spacious and pleasant, with seating inside and outside, and affordable prices. Service was average and food came out quickly, but there was some confusion with my dish, bread was missing, and I had to ask twice before being told it was being freshly prepared. It would’ve helped to be informed upfront. My breakfast plate had good variety, but I found the use of dressings a bit excessive, which overwhelmed the flavors. On the bright side, the pastéis de nata were delicious. Overall, a nice spot for coffee, though not my favorite for food.
